It is not allowed to eat starchy vegetables, whole grains and beans no matter that these foods are not in conflict with the idea of the diet.  According to The American Heart Association there is a lack of essential proteins in the diet and they also promote high-protein foods.

The third diet is the Jenny Craig diet. It is one of the longest fashionable diets. It started in the early 1980’s and is still being used. The idea is that you do not have to choose receipts and cook but only to buy the Jenny Craig prepackaged food. And this may come to $100 per week, including the membership cost. The diet is pretty good, as long as you can afford it and stick to it. At the same time you could buy a low-calories food from the market and you do not have to discuss this with a Jenny Craig expert to tell you that you have to eat it just because he gets paid for that.

There is another diet coming from sunny Florida and it is a South Beach Diet. This is not the perfect diet but many people have managed to loose weight with it. The question is about whether you can actually stick to it. The first thing is to eliminate foods that contain carbohydrates. The good thing is that this phase lasts only two weeks. The second part is composed of whole grains and fruits and it lasts as long as it takes. If it takes you one year to reach the desired weight, then this is the time for the second phase to last. And in case you do not like the foods allowed in this diet, then there are no alternatives for you.

Another vary famous diet is Weight Watchers. It is a great diet because it puts all the management tools in the hands of the user. If you really want to loose weight, you have all the information that you need. There are also many people who are ready to help you. If some company during difficult times help you, then this diet is right for you. If you do not like the idea of constantly being under pressure then do not choose this diet.

As it can be seen from the review there are many diets out there. The best thing that you can do when making a diet is to make as much research as possible. Then you will see the comments of the people who tried to do it. You also could read what doctors and dietitians have to say. You could get the truth about the diet between those who praise it and those who say it is wrong. But you have to pay special attention to what doctors have to say. If they say that certain diet puts your body on risk, then think twice before trying it.
