Are you doing these fitness mistakes?
More and more people are beginning to focus on what they eat,
the activities that they
take
part in and the lifestyle they choose.
Will it surprise you if I will tell you that nearly every person who has tried dieting or fitness has dropped out of a program at least once?
What can we do? It's life!
There are many obstacles on your way when you decide to take
control on your diet and lifestyle and almost every occasion become to real test
for your willpower. Even work and social events, lack of adequate emotional
support and at the end boredom all they play major role how successful your
weight loss is going to be.
The pattern is a very recognizable if you know what I mean...
When you eat the same food every day - it is boring, going to the gym only to go through the same motions is also boring.
Even so, it's not that bad :o) Actually I have some good news for you...
you can easily avoid this kind of mood if you put some time in a bit of planning and
developing a positive attitude.
And know what? When you take a closer look at the common
mistakes that people do when trying to get fit you can clearly see the
same mistakes that everybody do.
Here is a list of the mistakes that you have to avoid doing
them:
The number one mistake - the failure to plan ahead.
It is obvious that going to the gym without a clear and precise goal is
certainly the best way to fail. If you don't have a clear target then how can you know if you've reached it or not? For example,
if you find out what your ideal weight is, make that to your goal, keep
your goal in your mind, stick to it, and go towards it.
Number two - coming up with excuses to avoid going to
the
gym. We all know how life tends to get in your way and stop you from exercising, but even
then with proper planning you can arrange it and not quit your fitness program just because something came up at the last moment.
If you work on rescheduling your gym sessions you can find the best possible way
to stick your plan.
Do not work out too little! Many people go to the
gym, lift 2 dumbbells several times hoping that they're done for the day. Isn't
that wrong? Isn't it better if you sit down at the table for half an hour or so, and come up with a sound training program
that make sure of your success? Need a help? Why don't you ask a gym trainer to suggest you some good training program if you
have a difficulty come up with your own? There is no need to be shy to ask
help... people in the gym will always try to help you and many of them will be happy to do it for you.
Keep in mind, don't over do it. Yes, it's true - too much fitness can also be bad.
It's natural process when your muscles need some time to grow and on the other
hand your body needs time to burn a fat... and it takes time. The thinking that the body only burns up fat during exercises is
so wrong. When you have more muscles mass you faster burn calories to feed your muscles
with energy... it happens all the time during common maintenance and even when you're resting! Overtraining will simply make you tired
and you will not be rewarded with any additional benefits. So keep that in mind.
Keep a very close eye on what you eat. Do I need
to suggest you completely drop the fast food and snacks from your daily eating plan? and forget about soft drinks
as well? On the other hand don't starve yourself! This is also a common mistake that a lot of people make.
To keep muscles fit you need to nourish them with proper food in order to grow...
avoid starvation as it is a bad way to diet anyway.
Never compare yourself to others. Yep, never do
that! All of us are all unique individuals. We all have an unique genetic make-ups governing our weight gain, weight loss and response to training.
So you have always stick to your own pace... to your own goal. It is not a
competition and there is no need to rate your performance according to the
achievements of others. Ok? Don't repeat same things over and over.
It is so boring, isn't it? Avoid this common mistake otherwise if you do this, you will quickly
find out how easily you lose your motivation and get bored. Try to vary the
exercises... replace the ones with new exercises every now and then. Best is to
find some variations on a classic exercise and try them out. If you are creative
you'll have fun experimenting.
Don't go into the pub right away from the gym. Do
I have to remind you that alcohol consumption is big no-no? Keep it on a tight leash.
Did you know that alcohol has an extra calories that you don't need? and it is also metabolized as fat and very fast.
What is the point in pumping iron in the gym for 1 hour and then wasting the entire effort
just to have a couple of beers? I don't think this a good way to move forward!
Lastly... can you lose weight just by sitting on your
couch in front of the TV/computer? I don't think so. It just doesn't work that way. So get out
of the couch, suit up for a gym because it's good for you... Honestly? It's best
you can do for yourself! And please, please... Spare me your excuses... please!
