Nowadays since we become more aware of our
health, most of us are focused on how to lower fat
intake in our daily diet. The advanced health
awareness make more people worried about calories
than fat when actually you should be worried about
both. Making sure that your diet isn't full of junk food
instead of the right foods which balance your diet
and supply necessary nutrients. Eating no fat can't make
difference, if all your daily calories will come from
sweets? It's not sure that fat is the bad
thing we make it out to be. Increased amounts of carbs
consumed daily might be the real evil in the diet
empire.
Most of the cultures in the world eat some kind
of bread. In the old days, women spent all day long
making breads. The same is also true with pasta in
some regions of the world where some sort of pasta
is eaten with every meal. The rice is the same
thing as well as the Irish and potatoes.? And They
are all carbs.
Eating them every day during whole life is
most likely some kind of addiction to carbs.
I know that I eat so much bread and other carbs and
they add a tire around the waste line. Don't think
that carbs are worse than fat per se. Fat has its
problems too. Too much fat in your diet and you
are getting yourself ready for a heart attack. Young men
get heart attacks at an early age is live prove for
that.
You should be cautious with Fat and at the same time
not all fat are the same though. Fat are saturated and
non-saturated. You have to keep away of saturated
fat which comes from meats and cheeses. But
that's not all. Anything deep fried foods are more
saturated in fat than meats and cheeses
like donuts, French fries, potato chips. You
need to stay away from them sense
they are high in calories and also may clog
your arteries.
I hate to say it, but the good stuff in life has
its risks. It doesn't mean that you shouldn't ever
eat them at all but eat them in moderation. That is the
key. Don't eat them every day, but once per week and
when you do, don't go hog wild on a whole bag of chips.
Instead, have a small bag and you won't be tempted to
eat the whole bag.
Good source of healthy fats are Olives, Canola,
Sunflowers. Oils such as olive oil are low in sat fats
and use it when ever you can. Once again use it in
moderation or best as little as possible.. Make
sure to always use non stick cookware which is a must
and a great investment for your health. In such manner
you won't have to use as much oil when cooking.
In general, best is to watch your caloric intake
as well as your fat. I would say that they should go
hand in hand. Keep close attention to how much carbs you
are consuming each day. They are a great source of
energy, but don't be too dependent on them and you
will not feel like you need a nap all the time.
Diets rich of fat have their own health risks
involved: higher risk of diabetes 2, cardio (heart)
disease, or a whole host of cancers that most people
don't have a risk for, skin problems. Too much fat cause
to very bad complexion and the skin almost looks
like leather.
Now when you finished reading the article I
really hope that you should not cut out all of the
fat in your diet. That wasn't my intention. Instead,
take a look at the bigger picture: choosing right
kinds of fat and eating them in moderation will not harm
your health at all, but at the same time it doesn't
mean that you'll go licking a block of lard as a
refreshing snack on a hot summer day.
