Nowadays when you
have to fit so many things in one single day, wise and
efficient management of your time is required. Sometimes it may seem too much but
if you take a closer look, you
have to plan some of the things. The same may be said
about our diet too. Perhaps we should focus more on how
much we eat instead of worrying of what we eat. Serving
sizes have significantly raised over the years and in
such situation It will be highly beneficial also to plan our
diets too. Here are some
simple steps to plan our eating.
1. Prefer mini
meals.
Doctors tell people with
some diseases that they should have several small meals
each day. The meaning is that one should eat something almost every two
hours. And this is not impossible to do. You have to
start by eating something every four hours. It should be
like any of your normal meals. You should have protein
and fiber as well as some vegetables and fruit to
balance. A mini meal should not be a bucket or a fried
chicken, it should remain a MINI meal. Because it is mini meal, it should not be very
tempting. This is a great way to avoid hunger and
improper snacks during the day. Make your mini meals up
and eat them every time that you have planned.
2. Do not
overeat.
It is easier to say that
than to do it. There should be some specific amount that
you have to reduce. If you are trying to reduce your
meals by 10% then you have to do that. You do not need a
calculator and try to try to count every meal that you
have. If you have been on a diet for some time you know
how much calories there is in the different food. You
should not eat with your eyes but with your mind and
this will diminish the food that you
have.
3. Eat food that tastes
good
From time to time eat
something that tastes good,
some of your favorite foods, even
you though you know
that you should not. Thus it will be easier for you to
follow your diet.
4. It is better to eat your calories than to
drink
them.
You should take too much
soda or other drinks. If you drink too much you will get
all of your calories at once. If you drink a few sodas,
a few cups of hot chocolate, a few beers and you will
put on
pounds.

Exercise
In order to be fit you
have to make exercises. You will be fit and mental sharp
at the same time. This will help you in sticking to your
diet. In case you feel depressed you will eat fat foods
that will make you fat. The fatter you consume, the more
depressed you will
feel.
6. You have to make your meals
last.
It is not good to swallow
your food. Instead you have to eat slowly and enjoy its
taste. If you are doing it, you will feel like you have
eaten. And if you swallow it, you will not get the same
benefit. You still will be feeling
void.

You have to
discover your food
triggers
Everybody has a food
trigger. You probably do not remember the last time when
you went to the shop and looked at the bag of cookies.
This is what I do all the time. You should understand
what foods trigger your system. Then you will avoid
situations that will make you eat foods that you
definitely should
not.
The most important thing
is to have a diet plan. It has to be planned like
everything else that we plan in our
lives. Well designed diet is easier to follow and even
easier to succeed and reduce excessive weight.
