Being properly hydrated increases your strength, helps prevent injuries, protects your joints, and is vital for digesting food just to name a few. This tip is probably the most important tip on my list of weight loss tips for men.

Tip number three on my list of weight loss tips for men: don’t overtrain your body! Weight training can easily be overdone, you must take your rest days in order for your muscles to recover and rebuild stronger.

Many men think that if they put in endless hours at the gym and spend most of their day at the gym, then they will achieve their goals much sooner. This is false.

You do need to train at an intense level when you are performing your workout, but this doesn’t mean that you don’t need rest after your workout. Training anymore than necessary will just put extra stress on your body.

You can become injured if you do not give your body the rest it needs to recover from an intense workout. When you are at this point, building muscle mass is impossible.

While you are in the gym working out, you are tearing down your muscles, they only rebuild while you are resting.
