Too Good to Be True

The Hollywood Diet is always glamorized in the media.

Most dieters wonder how it’s possible to lose so much weight in so little time.

I personally tried this As Seen on TV product to see if it really does what it claims to do.

Hollywood Diet Claims

You can lose up to 10 lbs in 48 hours if you stick with the rules.

Can you handle this for two days? No food, smoking, caffeine or alcohol.

Each bottle contains 64 ounces of juice and it should last you for the entire 48 hr diet process.

It’s made from botanical extracts and all natural juices fortified with essential oils, minerals, vitamins, and anti-oxidants.

What the diet really does is detoxify your body of impurities which result in the weight loss.

Please note that fasting is always healthy if done in moderation and if you consult your doctor first.

Diet Rules

On day 1, mix 4 ounces of water with 4 ounces of the Hollywood Diet juice. Sip this over the next 4 hours and after your done, drink 8 oz of water. Repeat this three times during day 1. On day 2, repeat day 1 all over again.

Weight loss consists of the following:

1. Fat reduction – 1 lb

2. Water Reduction – 6 lb

3. Waste Matter 2 – 5 lb

This totals 12 pounds, but just realize that only 1lb of that is actually fat.

Advantages

  • Program is short and reasonably simple for most people.
  • Mostly healthy for you because its juice and vitamins instead of diet pills.
  • Boosts your energy due to the vitamins and minerals.
  • A simple way to detoxify your body. No exercised involved.

Disadvantages

  • I felt energized the first day but felt somewhat dizzy on the second day due to lack of food.
  • My appetite wasn’t curbed on the second day of the diet, even though Hollywood Diet claims that it does curb your appetite.
  • This diet may not be good for those looking for an overall health or lifestyle change since it doesn’t involve fitness and only lasts 1-2 days.

Editors Verdict

The Hollywood Diet does work. I personally lost 7 lbs on this diet. I didn’t lose the 10lbs that they claimed but I’m still very happy with the results.

This diet would appeal to someone who wants a quick weight loss system to clean their bodies of impurities rather than fat reduction.

It’s basically only for short term weight loss, by cleaning your digestive system and detoxifying your body.
