Studies Prove That A Healthy Diet With Alli Reduces Visceral Fat

The Visceral Fat Multi-Center Study and the Visceral Fat Imaging Study are independent studies that observed whether alli has the ability to effectively and significantly reduce weight loss and visceral fat loss to promote the health of obese people. The results were presented at the First International Congress on Abdominal Obesity that took place in Hong Kong in January 2010. The average participant in each of these studies was an adult and presented with a waistline larger than 40 inches for men and 34.64 inches for women and had a BMI (Body Mass Index) between 25 and 35 kg/m2.

The Visceral Fat Multi-Center Study Show alli is a Winner

This important study observed 123 overweight and obese participants over a six month period of time in order to discover whether taking alli combined with a diet low in fat and calories makes a difference in the amount of body fat lost and the amount of visceral fat lost. Participants took either alli or a placebo three times a day and were instructed to adhere to a healthy diet low in fat and calories to achieve the best results.

At the end of the six month period, all of the participants were re-measured and weighed so the results could be accurately compared. Although everyone experienced weight loss, visceral fat loss and a reduced waistline, the participants who took alli experienced the most significant amount of weight loss.

Specifically, an average of 15.66 percent of visceral fat was lost by using alli compared with 9.39 percent in those taking a placebo. The average weight loss was only 3.91 kg in the placebo group compared with 5.96 in those supplementing their diet with alli.

Results of the Visceral Fat Imaging Study Prove alli is Effective

Alli is the clear winner once again after the Visceral Fat Imaging Study concluded after three months.  Through MRI technology, this study observed the inner changes that taking alli causes within the body.  

As the largest MRI center in Europe, the Clinical Imaging Centre in the UK hosted this study. Although smaller in scale, this study showed that all 26 participants who combined 3 daily doses of alli with a healthy diet low in fat and calories lost an average of 2 inches from their waistlines. Measuring the waistline is usually how visceral fat is analyzed, and the fact that participants lost 5.6 percent of their body weight, as well as 10.6 percent visceral fat, shows that alli is an important weight loss supplement.
