There are some things that just sound too good to be true. Take the pasta chocolate diet for example.
According to the program description, a dieter can consume pasta or an ounce of chocolate every day, or believe it or not, as often as he or she wants.
Doesn’t sound like a heaven? Or does it smell fishy to you?
Whatever it is, the pasta chocolate diet definitely has earned a lot of buzz just because of its very unconventional methods.
But what does the program really promote?
The program does not actually tell people to eat ONLY pasta and chocolate.
Instead, it tells people that eating controlled amounts of pasta and chocolate, two products that are prohibited from most weight loss programs, makes them less likely to commit cheating on their diet.
Aside from the two “prohibited” products, the diet actually recommends eating products such as:
* Salads with low calorie dressings
* Vegetables and fresh fruits
* Air-popped popcorn with no butter or salt
* Plenty of water
When on this program, people are also advised not to eat products such as:
* Alcoholic beverages
* Food with salt or sodium
* Sugar
* Oils
* Fried food
* Dairy products
The diet is also very “loose” or “relaxed.” Meal options are not strictly mandated as with other diets. In fact, the whole program works on focusing on what you desire and satisfying it, as well as making sure you eat a variety of foods every day.
The difference, however, is that the food you eat are more nutritious and the portions are controlled or at least moderated.
Healthy snacks are also recommended, as well as making sure that breakfast is always eaten.
Well, in my opinion, being able to eat pasta and chocolate without the guilt is good enough for me.
