Confusion about Cardio.
Doing Cardio exercise can be a real challenge at a gym, when one has to face problems such as machines that are difficult to use or cause knee or back problems.

Swimming pool.
Swimming is a most recommended exercise for obese people. But what to do if don’t have a pool in your backyard? Walking around in a bathing suit causes instant panic for plenty of people, isn’t it? Now imagine how it could be if you’re overweight or obese.

Recumbent bikes.
These are another good option for obese people. The real problem is the size. Many of them aren’t built with big enough seats and climbing onto them can be a real challenge.

Walking.
This is a simple exercise that can be done anywhere, right? Tell that to obese person who got food thrown at him from a moving car because of her size.

Strength Training Issues.
Weight Benches are too narrow and/or too tall for larger bodies. The seats of many strength machines are too small for larger behinds.

  • Getting up and down from the floor is a workout all on its own and many supine exercises cause problems breathing.
  • Obese people carry weight around their bellies which make some exercises impossible.

Even a traditional leg exercises such as squats and lunges are difficult for obese people with knee problems. Balance is sometimes an issue as well.

If we were living in a perfect world this obesity problem wouldn’t exist altogether. However, until that magic day gets here, we have to find some creative ideas to help the obese people who want to exercise.
