How Much Water Should I Drink?

Everybody knows, the simple fact, that we should drink eight ounce glass of water every day. The amount of water that you need depends on your weight, level of activity, the temperature and humidity of the environment and of course on your diet. Your diet is important because if you eat a lot of fruits and vegetables then you may not need that much water. Weight Loss and Water

You may use a calculator and a measurement cup but the way you feel will tell you best whether you need more water or not. When you drink sufficient amounts of water your urine will be pale yellow also vitamin supplements and antibiotics may discolor it. But you also do not have to run to the bathroom very often. Then probably you have to drink a bit less water.

Weight Loss and Drinking Water

You should not worry that drinking water will make you look bloated. There are other reasons of water retention like consuming too much salt. Drinking water is not one of the reasons.

You may harm yourself by drinking too much water but this is not easy. This may happen because of obsessive-compulsive behavior or because of extended athletic activity, large amounts of water can dilute the electrolytes and these are the sodium and potassium in your body. 

They could be diluted to such extends to interfere with your brain, heart and muscle function.

Here are some tips on drinking water :
